BACKGROUND
ForeverGreen Trails (FGT) is working with Mount Rainier Business Alliance (MRBA) to examine the possibility of a multi-day destination-oriented trail system primarily for bicycle use.
MRBA, a nonprofit member organization, of FGT. They are seeking to better activate recreation opportunities outside of Mount Rainier National Park around Ashford and better utilize the spring and autumn shoulder seasons to stimulate the local economy via a trail system that will generate multi-day trips by riders, walkers, runners, etc. In 2024, a feasibility study was initiated to explore the issues regarding these goals.
